My working life began at a very young age, 14 years old, with a great passion, wood. My first job in a carpentry shop.
Then the great passion is the landing in the world of boating in 1987. I was hired with the qualification of specialized carpenter, in a large and prestigious shipyard, Dalla Pietà.
For me, this shipyard means a lot, still today, because inside I have refined my skills in woodworking, hence my great love for boats and boating in general.
Over the years I have had the appointment as “boat manager” in the line of construction of the super luxury yacht DP 80 feet. These yachts are intended for well-known people such as Zidane, Panucci, Pozzetto, Rizzoli, etc.. At the same time, in 1993, I started building and restoring smaller wooden boats.
Since 2008, with the advent of the severe crisis that has affected and “destroyed” the world of boating, especially the super luxury one, I had to change shipyard, thus finding myself working as a freelancer in the largest and most prestigious shipyards in Venice. In one of these, I was commissioned to build a very prestigious taxi called “Amore” (Love), which has been appreciated by big-name artists from the world of cinema, such as George Clooney, to the point of wanting to use it as the main means for his wedding in Venice.
Now I own a prestigious shipyard and in addition to restorations, I designed and built a taxi in which I wanted to combine the oldest and most prestigious construction techniques and innovation, is for sale, for more information went to the next section!
I think I can define the love for restoration as intrinsic in my being, because since I was a child I have found joy and pleasure in giving new life to old objects and things.
Restoring a Riva for me would be one of the greatest honors and dreams,
because it has always been and will be “The wooden boat” by definition as well as being an icon that has marked an era
with its motorboats, dictating incomparable style and elegance, emulated all over the world.
In the processing method and in the attention to detail used by Riva shipyards
I recognize myself and I’ve always wanted to base my work on this method.
I carry out traditional Venetian boat constructions in wood, and water taxis. Each boat is built on specific customer requests, through a project.
For an exclusive and personalized final product.
Wear and tear of time and contact with the marine environment wear out the structure of the boat.
I carry out repairs, repairs and upgrades, a great way to extend the life of your boat.
